LUMIN LED PANEL LIGHTING OR LED PANEL FIXTURE STATCENTER NETWORKED CONTROLLABLE THERMOSTATS
A.  DESCRIPTION:  Networked Controllable Thermostats shall be wirelessly managed 24VDC controllable thermostats suitable for connection to a wide range of heating and cooling equipment.  Controllable Thermostats shall be direct replacements for traditional 5-relay electronic thermostats, and shall provide remote management and control of heating and cooling systems when used in conjunction with LUMIN-Lighting’s led panel lightCenter and EnergyCenter software . Provide LUMIN-Lighting Corporation StatCenter T32P Networked Controllable Thermostats in quantities and configurations as shown on the project drawings.
1.  Controllable Thermostats shall provide remote and local management of separate heating and cooling setpoints
a.  local setpoint controls may be active, inactive, or restricted to a certain range.
b.  setpoints shall be adjustable via a 24hour x 7day week x 365 day schedule in conjunction with rules applied to sensor inputs, occupancy status, over-rides, and curtailments.
2.  Controllable Thermostats shall be fully compatible with occupancy/ vacancy sensors provided by the manufacturer of the Controllable Thermostat as well as certain sensors manufactured by others.  
a.  Controllable Thermostats that only support proprietary sensors provided by the manufacturer of the Controllable Thermostat shall not be acceptable for this project.
b.  Controllable Thermostats shall support selected 24VDC Occupancy and Vacancy Sensors
c.  Occupancy/ Vacancy sensors shall be capable of being shared with other network devices including led panel lighting and Plug Load Controllers.
3.  In the absence of Network Communication, the Controllable Thermostat shall continue to operate in the last selected mode with current heating and cooling setpoints.
4.  Controllable Thermostats shall communicate with one another, the Network Management Appliance, Networked led panel lighting Controllers, and other network devices via a reliable mesh network.  It shall not be necessary to run control cable between Controllable Thermostats or other network devices.
a.  Controllable Thermostats shall be configured, managed, and controlled via HTML (web) pages provided over the LAN or WAN by led panel lightCenter or EnergyCenter Software installed on the LUMIN-Lighting Manager Appliance.

b.  Controllable Thermostats that require a dedicated piece of hardware, or proprietary software installed on a LAN or WAN PC shall not be acceptable.

2.4 LUMIN LED PANEL LIGHTING OR LED PANEL FIXTURE MINI OCCUPANCY/ VACANCY SENSORS  
A. Provide LUMIN-Lighting passive infared (PIR) occupancy sensor, model number 1000133-XX, as manufactured by  LUMIN-Lighting Corp., Columbia, Maryland. 
1. Operation: When is the ON state, turn led panel lights on when coverage area is occupied, and turns them off when unoccupied; with a predetermined time delay for turning led panel lights off. 
2. Detection: PIR sensor detects heat and movement. 
3. Sensor Output: Contacts rated to operate the connected relay, Sensor is powered from the ARC. 
4. Mounting: Ceiling or  wall mounted options 
a. Ceiling mounted to acoustical ceiling T-grid. 
b. Surface mounted to ceiling or wall. 
5. Indicator: led fixture display, to show when motion is detected during testing and normal operation of sensor. 
6. LUMIN-Lighting occupancy sensor has a detection range of 10 meters. Multiple occupancy senors may be connected to the ARC using one or more RJ line splitter(s).

2.5 WALL SWITCHES 
A. Provide standard single pole 15A wall switch to control the ARC “ON” and “OFF” state. Multiple wall switches may be wired in 2, 3 or 4 way switch configuration.

2.6 CONDUCTORS AND CABLES 
A. Power Wiring to Supply Side of Remote-Control Power Sources: Not smaller than No.12 AWG. Comply with requirements in Section 260519 "Low-Voltage Electrical Power Conductors and Cables." 
1. Wire shall be copper, THHN/THWN insulation, #12 size minimum. 
B. Classes 2 and 3 Control Cable: Multiconductor cable with stranded-copper conductors not smaller than No.22 AWG. Comply with requirements in Section 260519 "Low-Voltage Electrical Power Conductors and Cables."
